A new facility for managing subdomains has been introduced to the Namesco Online Control Panel.
What is a subdomain?
Simply put, a subdomain is any domain that is part of a larger domain. If you own a .uk domain name (e.g. names.co.uk), then the subdomains that you can define (e.g. webmail.names.co.uk) are often referred to as ‘4th-level’ domain names.
Subdomains are a useful tool to market and promote a specific product range or to subdivide large websites.
If you use Namesco to manage your domain names you can now create an unlimited number of subdomains for FREE and point them at any directory within your site.
