Can I change my website template?
The decision to change a template should be your “last resort” option.
It will undo all the hard work you’ve done!
Info: Changing a template will mean any text you have already added will be lost. Images may still be within the editor, but will have to be added to a new template.
To help avoid starting from scratch, all the templates are fully customisable so you can change them. We have more guides to help you do this, so please have a read of them and see if this is a better option.
Tip: If you need to adjust the design elements of the website and you have already put in a lot of work then use the editing tools within the editor to tweak the current design to your recommendations, rather than changing the template and essentially going back to the beginning again.
How to change the template
If you do want to change the template and start from the beginning again then you will need to choose the Reset Site option. You can find this in your Online Control Panel > Website Builder Settings > Reset Site
Once you’ve done this, the next time you click on Edit site you will see the template selection screen and can start from scratch again.
